May 2, 1881 - the Mt Hermon Congregation was organized - 41 communicants and 41 children were charter members.  They met in a schoolhouse near Boom's Bridge

1889 - Mt Hermon was built

1896 - Parsonage was built

1897 - Balcony erected

1904 - Tower and Sacristy Built

1906 - Pews purchased

1913 - Luther League/Family Night started

1928 - Language changed to all English

1931 - Sheet metal put on walls and ceiling - Altar painting installed

1938 - Electricity installed

1955 - Basement and Kitchen built; well dug and plumbing installed

1960 - Interior of the church redecorated

1971 - New narthex built

1981 - Basement and kitchen enlarged and Fagerberg Room built

1986 - Horsch family donated land north of the church

1990 - Basement refinished with new walls and ceiling

1998 - Charlie Teigen repainted words from Isaiah 6:3 above the altar

2003 - New shingels on church roof

2004 - Ramp added on north side of church

2010 - Church reshingled after storm damage; 4 rows of "living snow fence" planted west of the church

2014 - Basement improvements made

2015 - Main floor bathroom installed

2016 - Church rock moved to south side of building, rock garden installed

2020 - Church closed due to COVID - March 17th; YouTube channel set up for online video services

2021 - Internet installed to make live streaming services possible
